Living to eat, eating to live, which comes first? Sometimes, the order changes on a daily basis. What has it got to do with travel? Plenty! People stop and take pictures of their food before eating. Why? Because apparently, other people are interested. People want to know. Other people want opinions and other people want to learn. Now, prior to travel, we check out opinions and ratings, must-try places; even food has become part of the destination. Travelers have come to acknowledge the importance and value food adds to the whole experience. Aside from searching for that taste that can encapsulate the character of the place that you are visiting or the adventure you are taking on, brushing up on the food prospects plays a practical role as well. It can help you plan your budget. You can manage you funds better and allocate funds for splurge meals, you don’t have to live large all the time; you can pick and choose. Feed your wanderlust with travel, but make sure to bring along all your other senses. Keep your mouth and tummy adventurous. Travel! Taste! Taste! Travel!
